Mike began his career in lumber as a yard man in 1982 working his way to General Manager of one of the largest Florida retail operations. He left his position as GM in 1993 to pursue a career in the wholesale side of the industry. Mike specializes in plywood, SPF and SYP commodities.

Mike’s foremost hobby is inshore and offshore fishing, competing in local and regional tournaments across the south. When Mike isn’t fishing, he spends time with his wife Wendy and his four grown children: Joey, Colin, Brooke and Tiffany, as well as his one grand-daughter Cali.
